A housekeeper will service your room each weekday between 10:00am and 2:00pm, if you would prefer that your room be left alone for the day, please hang the sign provided on the outside of your door. Room servicing over the weekends is limited, however, the team will ensure that your room is well-stocked with towels and other amenities for Saturday and Sunday.

If you require ice in your room outside of service hours, please take your ice bucket to the bar on the sixth floor where you may fill it from the ice machine located below the coffee machine.

The Club’s digital television system provides a number of SKY channels in all bedrooms.

A dry cleaning service is available Monday to Friday. Please place your dry cleaning or laundry in a Wellington Club bag (found in the drawer under the luggage rack) with a list of contents, your name and room number. Please leave your laundry at reception, and it will be returned the following day.

Two embroidered luxurious bathrobes are in the wardrobe for your use while in the Club. If you wish to purchase a bathrobe at $75 each, please enquire at reception.

For your convenience, an iron and ironing board are in the wardrobe of your bedroom. Please be careful with the hot iron and ensure it has been turned off when you have finished ironing.

The nearest post office is Capital Office Supplies, Masons Lane, Wellington.

Stamped mail may be placed in the Club mail box situated opposite reception on the fourth floor. This is cleared daily, excluding weekends. The Club also provides an electronic stamping service to members and guests at reception.

A hairdryer is located in every bathroom. This may be found in a bag which is hung on the inside of the bathroom door.

We have an ongoing maintenance programme. To assist us with this, please advise reception of any maintenance issues in your room which need attention.

Operating instructions
Please advise reception that you want to make use of the safe.
Your safe should be set on”1111” to initially allow access.
To enter, press: “start” “1111” “start”.
Open safe door completely.
Press red button (b) on the back bottom hinge of door, then release it and the display on the panel will show ‘SET CODE’.
On the number pad enter a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 8 numbers, which you wish to use as your personal code and confirm by pressing “start”. The display will show ‘IN’ and display your input numbers. The code is now confirmed.
Please advise reception upon your departure of your usage of the safe in order to reset the code for the next guest in the accommodation.
There is no charge for using the safe. The Club does not accept responsibility for lost or stolen property, whatsoever. Using the safe is at the guest’s own risk. If you have any issues with the safe during your weekend stay, please call our General Manager Justine, 027 408 8813

Setting the alarm
To set the radio alarm, first tune in a station and adjust the volume.
While holding down ALARM A RADIO (for the radio) or B BUZZER (for the buzzer), press either + or – under TIME SET till the desired time appears in the display. When you release ALARM A or B, the ALARM A or B indicator stops flashing and lights up, and the current time appears in the display. The alarm will come on at the preset time and automatically turn itself off after 59 minutes.
If you set ALARM A and ALARM B at the same desired time, only ALARM A will work.
To shut off the alarm, press RADIO OFF/ALARM RESET/OFF.
The alarm will come on at the preset time the next day.
To cancel either alarm, while holding down the ALARM A or B button, press RADIO OFF/ ALARM RESET/OFF.
To doze for a few more minutes, press SNOOZE/DATE/SLEEP OFF. The alarm will shut off, but will come on again after about 6 minutes. You can repeat this process as many times as you like.
To adjust the radio alarm volume, turn the VOL.
To check the preset time, press ALARM A or B.
Setting the sleep timer
Enjoy falling asleep to the radio using the built-in sleep timer that shuts off the radio automatically at a preset time.
Press RADIO ON/SLEEP. The radio turns on. It will go off after the preset time has passed. You can set the sleep timer of 90, 60, 45, 30 or 15 minutes
Every push changes the display as follows.
Current time —> ON —> 90 —> 60 —> 45 —> 30 —> 15
The radio will play for the time you set, then shut off.
To turn off the radio before the preset time, press SNOOZE/DATE/SLEEP OFF.
Operating the radio
Press RADIO ON/SLEEP to turn on the radio and adjust VOL (volume).
Select FM or AM, and tune in a station using the TUNING dial.
To turn off the radio, press RADIO OFF/ALARM RESET/OFF.
To improve radio reception
FM: Extend the FM wire antenna fully to improve reception. (For America model, the FM antenna is encased in the AC power cord.)
AM: Rotate the unit horizontally for optimum reception. A ferrite bar antenna is built into the unit.
Setting the clock
Plug in the unit. The display will flash “AM 12:00” or “0:00”.
While holding down CLOCK, press either + or – under TIME SET till the correct time appears in the display.
When you release CLOCK, the clock begins to operate.
The clock system varies depending on the model you own.
To set the current time rapidly, keep pressing the + or – button while holding down CLOCK
12-hour system: “AM 12:00” = midnight
24-hour system: “0:00” = midnight
Setting the date
While holding down SNOOZE/DATE/SLEEP OFF, press either + or – under TIME SET till the correct date appears in the display. Then, release SNOOZE/DATE/SLEEP OFF.
To display the date, press SNOOZE/DATE/SLEEP OFF. The display returns to the current time when you release SNOOZE/DATE/SLEEP/OFF.

For your comfort, you may increase or reduce the air volume by turning the dial-switch located near the entrance to your bedroom, and you may adjust the temperature on the thermostat located on the wall next to your bed.
